The Microneedle Research Group is dedicated to advancing the science and application of microneedle technologies by studying their fabrication, mechanical and chemical characterization, skin penetration efficiency, and scalability for mass production. 

Leveraging cutting-edge techniques and interdisciplinary approaches, the group seeks to optimize microneedles for use in drug delivery, diagnostics, and vaccination for various types of diseases including cancer, infectious diseases, and autoimmune dieases; offering a safer, minimally invasive, and more patient-friendly alternative to conventional methods. By addressing challenges in material development, biocompatibility, and manufacturing, the group aims to bridge the gap between research and real-world applications.
